Saturn V
The Apollo rockets that were launched for the moon missions are either in museums or on display in various locations across the United States. For example, the Saturn V rocket used for the Apollo 11 mission is displayed at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Other Apollo rockets may have been used for other purposes, scrapped, or lost in space.

There were a total of 15 Apollo rockets that were launched between 1966 and 1972. These rockets were used for crewed missions to the moon as part of NASA's Apollo program.
Apollo was the name of the project that was attempting to get men to the moon. The program was named after the Greek god of light and music by NASA manager Abe Silverstein. There were various parts of the mission, starting with basic tests of the components that would be used, such as the modules and the rockets. Some of the missions sent unmanned rockets into space. The first mission was Apollo 1, then Apollo 2 and so on. Apollo 7 was the first of the Apollo missions to take men into space. Apollo 11 was the first one to land on the moon. Apollo 17 was the last Apollo mission.
NASA did not build the aircraft for the Apollo missions. Instead, NASA used rockets and spacecraft to send astronauts to the moon during the Apollo program. The Apollo 16 mission used a Saturn V rocket to launch the spacecraft carrying the astronauts.
Every Apollo lunar mission, including the first landing (Apollo 11), was launched on the Saturn V rocket. Apollo 11 was launched by the sixth Saturn V rocket, designated AS-506. The Saturn V also launched the earth-orbital test mission Apollo 9 in early 1969.
The lunar module used during the Apollo 14 mission was named "Antares".
Apollo 11 was the spaceflight that first landed humans on the Moon in 1969, whereas rockets are the vehicles used to propel spacecraft into space. Apollo 11 specifically was the mission that carried astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins to the Moon and successfully landed Armstrong and Aldrin on its surface.
The Apollo 13 mission used approximately 20,050 gallons of fuel.
Apollo is the name of the NASA program whose mission was to send men to the moon. The rocket used to launch the Apollo crewmembers into space was called the Saturn V.
