Texas Wanted Independence From Mexico
September 16, 1810.
Texas won its independence from Mexico.
It is the day that Mexico declared Independence. Equivalent of an American fourth of July.
mexico got their independence in a battle between them and the spanish. it began as a simple little quarrel between the servants and their masters but grew to be much more.
After the "Battle of San Jacinto." Hows that for a sentence of knowledge!
In the 1836 battle of San Jacinto.
It gave Texas Independence from Mexico.

Miguel Hidalgo was the first man to fight for Mexico's independence. He fought for 2 years then was captured and decapitated. The second man to fight was Jose. He fought for 4 years and then died. The last man to fight and win Mexico's independence was Augustus de Iturbide. He originally was on the side of Spain who was fighting against Mexico at the time but suddnely thought "Hey, if I win these guys independence I can be their emporer."
