You can try and make your parents finish your punishment early by trying to talk to them. Explain to your parents that you are sorry for what you did wrong and that you will not repeat your mistake.
No, a child cursing at you is not a legal reason to kick her out of the house. It's never legal to kick her out of the house as long as she is a minor. And if she cursing is as a teen she is quite normal. They are testing us and this is the time to do so. Now I don't know what arrangement you have with her mother but the rules about who is punishing and what the punishment will be should be clear when there are step parents involved. Cursing in the house is not allowed but kicking her out is too severe. Take her phone away or something. Discuss this with her mother so you are on the same page with these things. And also make sure she knows you are on the same page.

Yes it should be totally banned in all public schools in the entire USA..... If parents want to use corporal punishment as a form of discipline then let the parents come to the school and administer the corporal punishment themselves when the child misbehaves....
In Islam, disrespecting parents is considered a serious sin. The punishment for disrespecting parents is not specified in the Quran or Hadith, but it is generally believed that such behavior can lead to negative consequences in this life and in the afterlife. It is emphasized in Islamic teachings to treat parents with kindness, respect, and obedience.
