The official religion of the Qing dynasty's rulers was Confucianism, whom Puyi was the last emperor of. After the Japanese had occupied Manchukuo in 1941, Puyi was appointed by the Japanese as emperor of Manchukuo and was forced to convert to Shinto, the state religion of Japan.

PuYi was the last emperor in China
The last ruler to work on the great wall of China was the emperor of the Han dynasty, otherwise known as Liu Bang.

The Ming Dynasty is the last Chinese dynasty of record. Zhū Yóuláng or rather Emperor Yǒnglì is China's last Han-Chinese emperor of record. The last date of his rule was 1646-1662 in mainland China. Also, factor into this that the main Ming Dynasty Imperial lineage ended with Emperor Chóngzhēn in 1644. Manchurians, who are not Chinese, conquered China in 1644. If Japanese had conquered China, would the Chinese people, today, acknowledge Emperor Akihito as their emperor, with Crown Prince Naruhito, as their monarch today? Why then should the Chinese accept Manchurian rule and forgo their own blood?

The last emperor of China, emperor of record, being Han-Chinese, would be the Zhū Yóujiǎn or Emperor Chóngzhēn, who ruled China from 1627-1644. Manchurians (people from MANCHURIA) then conquered China and China's imperial court then went into hiding and continued their lineage and succession in view of foreign rule over the Han-Chinese people.
No. China does not have emperors anymore. But there is a president and it's just like the other countries. It is the most populated country also. I want to add an answer to this. They are not just like other countries. They are a communist country and the last emperor was arrested by the communist revolution that happened in the 1930's. He ended up working in a labor camp. If you want to see his story check out the movie "The Last Emperor."
