Usually Runescape holds only events for major universal holidays. Usually, once a holiday is introduced into the game, events will follow through future years. The only repeat of an event was thanksgiving in 2009+2010.
2 years ago christmas event.
Unfortunately for both you and me, the Easter Eggs came a couple of years ago for a Easter Event and once they come around, they can't come around again. :( But luckily we have three events coming up in the next three months. The Halloween event which will start this week at sometime, the Thanksgiving event, which will start sometime in November, and the Christmas event.
You'll find out this years event outside the cooking guild - varrock.
only after 10 years at the least if at all

That's from an Easter Event some years ago; players who finished that event can turn into Easter eggs. If you didn't do the event, there is no way you can "catch up" now; that was a one-time-only event.
2013. If your birthday falls on thanksgiving in a given years, your birthday will be on thanksgiving 28 years later and 3 other years in intervals of 5, 6, or 11 years.
I remember cahrcoal when I first playing RuneScape. I played RuneScape for 5 years now and the last time I saw cahrcoal was the 3rd month I've ever played RuneScape. So I don't remember, but I think its just a Christmas event or for members quest or something. I remember finding it at Port Sarim Jail..
