The rule was that the 1st class passengers got the priority of getting off the ship first due to the fact that they paid £870 just to stay on the HMS Titanic.
Yes. This rule was actually put into place after the horrors of the Titanic. All ships must have enough lifeboats for everyone on board. Yes my girlfriend thought after titanic 3D that we should tell new ship companies that they must get enough lifeboats. She works for the prison service, so she is comfy with things that have not changed in 100 years. xx Every boat must cater for all, in the event of lifeboats deployed.
There were not enough lifeboats for everyone on board. They were going by the old rules and had just enough lifeboats, (and two collapsible life rafts), on board. The old rules, made before 1912, said how many lifeboats a ship the size of Titanic had to have, and in order to save money, they followed the rules and did not have more than what was required. Most of the people who did not get on a lifeboat, froze to death in the icy waters, although they remained afloat, held up by their life preservers. After the Titanic sank, the new rule was, a ship had to have enough lifeboats to carry everyone on board; passengers and crew included. Yes I agree with the answer above. The RMS Titanic didn't have no where near enough life boats on board of what was named 'the unsinkable' ship. In total out of 2,200 people on board of the Titanic, 1,517 people died when the ship was sinking. The RMS Titanic only had on board sixteen lifeboats and this included four inflatable ones. Each of these boats could hold 40 to 60 people. And yet none of them were filled. Life boat 1 left with only twelve people on. It could hold 40 people in total. Everybody who didn't get a boat was left to die. Wether they jumped in the water or died with the sinking of the ship, they died a tragic death. Thousands of people died of hypertermia, there bulky life jackets keeping them aflaot. Later they were found dead and pulled aboard another boat to be numbered and returned home to be buried.
Women and children first
In the weeks after the Titanic went down, Sentors ordered order and wanted to know "WHY did a brand-new sink with HUGE loss of life?" A month after, the Sentor broke the rule that, EVERY ship over 10,000 tons had to have 16 lifeboats on board.
Yes it is illegal to sell stuff from the titanic because the law maker made a rule that they need to keep artifacts in the titanic.
on titanic all women and children first then some of the men can go in some of the life boats that where left and other men could squish in.
Women and children were to go first but, more than half of the women had died most of the first class men survived. Most of the second and third class women where left to be consumed by the oceans waves while their burial ground would be deep in the depths of the ocean.
The people rule the country as the government is because of people.
the rules of first class was to stay out of and away from the lower classes other than that rule they had none
Democracy (literally, "rule by the people"). Not to be confused with a republic, which is rule by officials chosen by the people.
rule by a small group of people
Those who rule the popular sovereignty are the people.
