Where there any legal issues as a result of the camps name one?

Only in the very early stages. For example, in April and May 1933 there were visits by the coroner to Dachau ... As late as June 1933 some concentration camp guards were charged with murder, but the SS made sure that the charges were dropped. In June 1933 Himmler secured total immunity from prosecution for the SS for all activities carried out 'in the course of duty'. After that, SS guards were subject only to internal SS discipline and the camps were completely beyond the reach of the German courts. There were no more coroners' visits, either.
