It's pleasant down that way, too was the second thing that the Scarecrow said to Dorothy Gale in the beloved 1939 film version of 'The Wizard of Oz'. The first thing was 'That way is a very nice way'. Certainly [I spoke], how do you do?was the second thing that the Scarecrow said to Dorothy in the original 1900 book edition of 'The Wizard of Oz'. The first thing was 'Good day'.
Dorothy Gale to the scarecrow
Dorothy said would he go with her to see the oz so he can give him a brain.
In the original book by author and Oz series originator Lyman Frank Baum [May 15, 1856-May 5, 1919], and in the posthumous 1939 film version, Dorothy Gale and her pet dog Toto meet first the Scarecrow, second the Tin Woodman, and third the Cowardly Lion.
In the original 1900 book edition, the Wizard of Oz tried to talk the Cowardly Lion out of getting any help for his supposed lack of courage. When he saw the determination of the Lion, he found a green-colored bottle that supposedly was full of liquid courage. He told the Lion to drink the potion. The Lion thereby would be full of courage. In the beloved 1939 film version, the Wizard said that the Lion was far braver than military veterans back in Nebraska. But those veterans differed in their wearing medals at parades in recognition of their battlefield courage. With a medal, there'd be no differencebetween the Lion and the parading veterans.
Dorothy
The Scarecrow says this, in response to Dorothy's comment on the dark creepiness of the forest. This leads into their singing Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh, my!, with the Tin Woodman. And then onto the road leaps the Cowardly Lion.
The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side was what the Scarecrow said to the Wizard of Oz about mathematics and triangles. The statement was made at the second meeting of the Wizard with Dorothy Gale; her pet dog Toto; and their friends the Cowardly Lion, the Scarecrow, and the Tin Woodman. The statement was motivated by the Scarecrow purportedly receiving the brains that he already had from the Wizard. It was an incorrect phrasing of the Pythagorean theorem. So it showed loud and clear what a humbug the Wizard of Oz was.Yes the wizard was a dope! because he didn't know the Scarecrow was WRONG in his analysis of the Pythagorean theorem. Gotta admit love OZ.
because there are some teahers that are so wild..
That would seem to mean that some people are afraid of it.
Dorothy Gale cared about both Uncle Henry and Aunt Em. She appreciated her friendship with her relatives' farmhands Hickory, Hunk, and Zeke. But the one that she missed the most was Aunt Em. As she explained in the original 1900 book edition of The Wizard of Oz, Aunt Em was a worrier.
if it was a blatant (obious) lie then I wouldn't
what the witch said to Dorothy was ill get you and your little dog too!
