Although The Bible doesn't really say what the gifts of the Magi symbolized many think that: gold=king, frankincence=divinity of God, myrrh=healing, or Christ's earthly mission to 'heal' us from our sins.
The bible does not mention anything of a lamb given to christ .

Understand each day is a gift! But what does each gift symbolize?
The historical significance of God, the creator of the world, is that in and of it's self! He created this world so that we can be given the choice to have faith and follow him, or be ungrateful for the gift he has given us through his son dying on the cross for our sins.
The only traditional gift during Hanukkah is the gelt (coins) given to children.
