People have neglected long ago the advice contained in the Bible. Throughout the centuries there has been great ignorance on matters of health. In the past century doctors did not always wash after touching the dead, causing other death. Yet simple remedy was on record in the Bible all the time, and it was followed by the Israelites over 3,000 years ago. During the last century medical personel would go directly from handling the dead in the maternity ward, and they would not even wash their hands. Infection was thus transferred from the dead, and many others died. Hygienic measures wisdom, doubtless unknown to them were rejected by the medical world. Read Numbers 19: 11-22. So to answer your question. Black death helped the medical world to understand what was written in the Bible 3,000 years ago. Which is "The importance of the washing one's hands," which many neglect to this day.
