Japanese US Soldiers were first unable to join the military but Roosevelt reversed the policy in 1943 making many Japanese Americans extremely excited also creating Japanese Regiments The last answer was not what changed about the policy but what the policy originally was even though this may not be useful now to you it may be to other people have a nice day :D
