You should keep a hamster drinking bottle attached to the cage so that the hamster can drink whenever it wants. As long as the bottle is always full then I'm sure the hamster won't forget to drink.

∙ 16y agodwarf hamsters drink quite a lot , because they mainly eat dry food they have to drink to moisten it in their stomachs. keep the water topped up at all times.
