Electromagnetic Waves do not require a medium, or matter to move through, to transfer waves. This includes radiowaves, microwaves, infared waves, visible light waves, Ultraviolet waves, X-rays, and gamma rays.
Electromagnetic waves travel quite well through empty space; in fact they travel faster than when matter is present.
Gravitational waves are a theoretical concept; most physicists believe that they exist, but no one has yet caught a gravitational wave. If they do exist they won't need matter to travel through, and if present it won't slow them down.
Electromagnetic waves are the types of waves that do not need a medium (example: matter) to conduct its energy.
The only waves that can propagate without a medium are electromagnetic. These include radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, x-rays, and gamma rays.
Radiation, or electromagnetic waves do not require matter to carry energy.
Electromagnetic waves.
seismic wave travels faster through solid rock and slower through water, but i dont know why!
its simple. they dont
Sound waves enter your outer ear and travel through a narrow passageway called the earcanal, which leads to your eardrum. Your eardrum vibrates from the incoming sound waves and sends these vibrations to three tiny bones in your middle ear. These bones are called the malleus, incus, and stapes.
i dont no
i dont know lol
Sound needs something to carry the waves. This is most commonly air, and there is no air in space.
p waves i think!! im thirteen i dont know these things lol
i dont know ask ur science teacher
seismic wave travels faster through solid rock and slower through water, but i dont know why!
yes, they can travel.
Electromagnetic waves carry energy and information. Energy is transferred through the oscillation of electric and magnetic fields, while information can be encoded in the frequency, amplitude, and phase of the wave.
Sound waves are caused by vibrations and travel as longitudinal waves which cause by the vibration of the molecules in air (the molecules dont actually move)
Think about it. Its a lake. The waves have to move towards shore. The real answer is that boats that you dont see further out on the lake make waves that hit all sides of the lake and will travel the full length of the lake, no matter what size.
elephant dont talk!! only noise come on ur a 2nd grader come on -w
i dont know so tell me i dont know so tell me
Body waves: seismic waves that travel through the body of a medium Surface waves: seismic waves that travel along the surface of a medium and have a strong effect near the surface of the medium than it has in the interior
i dont know this company should answer it for us
