from my knowledge, it can be used in DNA testing in order to identify a suspect, it can be used to trace a person using this DNA, and can provide hard edvidence showing that someone was at the place of the blood, unless someone just had their transfusion lol, it can be used to do some other stuff but those are the main bits, in my opinion.
Forensic science first recorded in a Chinese book Hsi DuanuYu in 1248 describing ways to distinguish between death by drowning and strangulation. Italian doctor Fortunatus Fidelis is recognised as being first person to practice modern forensic medicine in 1598. Forensic science was recognised as a branch of medicine in the 19 century
Two ways that Hydrogen is used is by,using it as a compound to make gas for cars, and by using it as a compound to make water.H2O.
Salt is used for the deicing of highways.
The best ways to prevent lead poisening is to not intake it via mouth or blood infusion
solutions are used in various different ways. They all are useful in our daily lives!!:)
Fingerprints. Blood group. DNA Fibre analysis.
Through the use of computers and other technology, advances in forensic science are increasing the capability of law enforcement agencies to provide important physical evidence within court trials and hearings. With this technology, forensic scientists are eagerly developing new methods, equipment, tools and techniques to detect evidence that links criminals to crimes, as well as help to deduct suspects accused of crimes that were not committed. This increase in the ability to detect evidence previously passed over by human investigators is opening up new doors in how evidence is collected and handled, and will inevitably change the way in which courts determine the value of materials processed from crime scenes. From detecting fingerprints on clothing to new autopsy procedures, forensic science is finding new ways to discover evidence otherwise undetectable by standard investigative methods.

Forensic science uses chemistry to help identify, if in a case, something like if a poison killed the man/woman, chemistry might be useful to come up with what poison killed them, so the Crime Scene Investigators (CSIs) could have some more evidence on who killed them.

Chromatography is the most used separation-technique in forensic-chemistry and forensic-toxicology. HPLC and thin-layer-chromatography are often used to analyse samples of blood and urine to search for drugs and toxines as well as to search for toxines in case of a murder or an unexplained death. To identify and quantify a unkown toxine chromatography is mostly combined with mass-spectrometry. But in case of searching for heavy-metals methods of atomic-absorption-spectrometry are more often used instead of chromtography.Gas-chromatography in connection with FID and headspace-analysis is a common technique to quantify the amount of alcohol in a blood-sample.At least the technique to analyse DNA-samples called "Gel-Elektrophoresis" is also a chromatography-technique.To analyse paints of faked paintings or documents or car paints in case of an accident or crimes, the IR-spectrometry is the more common technique, it would also be possible to analyse these samples by thin-layer-chromatography or other chromatography-techniques, but IR-spectrometry is more reliable.

Blood tests are used to determine physiological and biochemical states, such as disease, mineral content, drug effectiveness, and organ function. They are also used in drug tests. Although the term blood test is used, most routine tests (except for most haematology) are done on plasma or serum, instead of blood cells.
There are different ways in which a forensic pathologist can make an educated guess as to the time of death. One such way would be body temperature. Another way is by body decomposition. Our bodies begin to decompose immediately upon death, and the time of death can be determined by which stage the body is in.
