Well I'm guessing I'm to late, but baking soda volcanoes are great or you could go to youtube and look up home made science fair projects.
Some examples of science fair projects would include the effects of caffeine and demonstrating if a hamster or mouse can go through a maze more quickly.

You ask your friends/relatives/neighbors what they did, and that should either give you an idea, or spark your imagination for your own unique idea. :) You could always go to chacha.com and search "Fun Science Projects" or whatever type of science project you want to do (:
