Yes, being anorexic will delay your period. Menstruation only occurs when you ovulate, and you will only ovualte regularly when you are healthy. Starving your body will cause stress and ill-health which can result in your body delaying or stopping ovulation so there's no risk of you becoming pregnant at a time when your body isn't well enough to cope.
According to the current DSM, anorexia includes the criteria of losing your period. However, this is controversial and may be removed from the next edition. Until then, if you fit the rest of the criteria for anorexia but still menstruate, you would be diagnosed as ED-NOS (Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified)
it depends on your age so if your 12 at 60 punds u loose ur period
Many do not. After body fat and bost weight fall below a certain percentage, a girl will lose the menstrual cycle.
You will lose a lot of weight..when you die and your body is corroded
Varies from person to person.
the veronicas are not anorexic. they are just naturally thin although they did lose some weight in 2008. they are not anorexic though.
Healthy diet & exercise
They are self conscious about their weight, and they will do anything to lose the weight. Anorexia is dangerous and people have even died of it.
Yes, it takes longer then stomach fat, but yes
Too much. Enough that you can die--like my friend.
Bulimia will not help you lose weight.Only healthy eating and exercise will do that. You can lose weight being Bulimic but it will happen much slower then an anorexic. Also most of what you lose is water weight not actual weight. It depends on what kind of bulimic you are as well.
You're anorexic. I have an idea, work on your self esteem, not your weight.
You are already UNDERWEIGHT, for your height, so do not lose any more weight because you will look anorexic.
Weight loss pills only promote weight loss by providing ingredients(not proven to work) such as herbal remedies. AS for the not eating...not a good idea unless you want to look anorexic
Yes, they do. They excercise exessively as well as starve themselves, but not in all cases.
