The power steering can not be adjusted on a Massey Ferguson 165 tractor. Check to make sure the hydraulic reservoir is full. This is usually the cause of most steering issues.
Almost all power steering fluid is the same. You can even use trans fluid in power steering which is why I never buy it. I buy the one for both. You CANNOT however use power steering in an automatic transmission.

I think they hold around 53 litres for power shuttle transmission
It depends on how much of it you have.
without seeing it the easy way would be at the pressure hose on the stering cylinder
To change the starter, first you must remove the power steering pump and remove the oil pressure sending unit wiring. The bottom radiator hose is in the way of the top power steering bolt so if the hose is stiff, you must remove the hose. If flexible, you can pushover to the side and losen hte bolt. NOTE: The starter weighs approximately 45 lbs so be very careful when removing so you do not smash your finger between the starter and the oil pressure sending unit.
Secure the power steering pump with the retaining bolts. Attach the power steering hose to the power steering pump. Put the belt on to the power steering pump. Fill the power steering system with fluid.
