10w-30 is the most common. If you can, use a synthetic. It will pay off in the long run if you plan on keeping it .
1976 Chevy 350 engine should take 5 qts engine oil with filter change.
The 1979 Chevrolet 350 cubic inch engine oil pressure should be in the 40 to 45 PSI range. The more miles an engine has the lower the oil pressure will be.
There should be a cap on the engine block itself that should indicate where the oil goes. It is usually marked with the word "oil."
It should be a constant flow as long as the oil pump is turning.
10w30
Ive got the same truck. Havent done an oil change yet but i plan on running a 20w50. The correct weight oil for your 1985 engine is SAE 10w30 any major brand.
You can use any SAE certified engine oil in your Nissan. The engine oil should be a 10W-30 weight engine oil.
A 10W-30 or 10W-40 should be fine.
the weight of oil viscosity weight is strictly related to temperature of operation. there is no set rules for it since anew engine will benefit from less dense oil an old wore out engine will not.
