Why need welding machine company?

Welding machine companies are important, because welding machine manufacturers like Artech Welders, Dynarc Systems, Crystal Electrodynamix are provides all types of welding machines for various business firms.

What does en indicate on a welding rod?

The letters EN , on a welding electrode , indicate "electrode negative" , that is the electrode is to be used with a DC current , in the negative position, or polarity.

Is inconel weldable?

INCONEL alloy 600 is readily joined by conventional welding processes. Welding materials for joining alloy 600 are INCONEL Welding Electrode 182 for shielded metal-arc welding*, INCONEL Filler Metal 82 for gas tungsten-arc and gas metal-arc welding, and INCONEL Filler Metal 82 and INCOFLUX 4 Submerged Arc Flux for the submerged-arc process. Welds made with INCONEL Welding Electrode 182 may have decreased ductility after extended exposure to temperatures of 1000° to 1400°F (540° to 760°).

What are the ten difference between TIG and MIG welding processes?

ElectrodeTIG welding uses a tungsten electrode that is not consumed during the welding process. MIG welding uses a metal electrode that doubles as filler material for the weld and is consumed during welding.Shielding GasTIG welding primarily uses argon as a shielding gas, with helium occasionally used. Argon is also the primary shielding gas used in MIG welding, but argon mixtures and carbon dioxide are often used for different applications.Filler MaterialTIG welding requires a separate filler material in rod or wire format because the electrode is not consumed. MIG welding delivers the filler material via the electrode.Work Piece MaterialsTIG welding can be applied to just about any metal, from steel to aluminum and exotic alloys. MIG welding was developed for nonferrous metals, but can be applied to steel.DifficultyTIG welding is considered to be more difficult than MIG welding because tighter tolerances have to be maintained between the electrode, the filler rod and the work piece.

What is the significance of the arc welding process?

The significance of the arc welding process are:-1. Flux Shielded Manual Metal Arc Welding is the simplest of all the arc welding processes.2. The equipment can be portable and the cost is fairly low.3. This process finds innumerable applications, because of the availability of a wide variety of electrodes.4. A big range of metals and their alloys can be welded.5. Welding can be carried out in any position with highest weld quality.6. The process can be very well employed for hard facing and metal deposition to reclaim parts or to develop other characteristics like wear resistance etc.ARSHAD H BHUTTOSALES ENGINEER-LINCOLN ELECTRIC WELDING PRODUCTS

How can you select the current values for welding?

The amount of current (amps) is controlled by the user. It's done with a variable resistor. Another thing to note is whether you are welding constant current or constant voltage. If you are welding constant current, the voltage will vary and a set Amp measure will remain constant. With constant voltage, the current will vary and that's determined by the resistance. Constant voltage should be an easier set up. I'm not 100% sure but most stick welding is constant current, which is why increasing the arc length produces more heat, because more arc length should increase the resistance, which would cause the welding machine to increase voltage to keep the current constant.

The old welding machines used electromagnetic winding to step up the current for welding rods. What is the new principle inside the welding machines?

The new principal inside welding machines is based on metal-arc welding, whereas the older welding machines used electromagnetic winding to increase the current in welding rods.

What is a general formula for welding output current and voltage relationship for MMA welding machines?

V= 0.05 i + 10 for mmaw welding v= 0.05 i + 20 for tig welding

Why is sma welding current referred to as constant current?

because the current is regulated rather than the voltage all the motions are controlled by movement that has been programmed. you cant see whats going on with the arc so to make adjustments you have to reprogram the motion after you stop and see what happened. perhaps you can set it for constant voltage and get better results. perhaps constant voltage is better for different materials. most smaller wire feeds are constant voltage which tends to keep the arc length constant. the operator can watch what he doing if he can see the arc and can make all manner of small adjustments. without reprogramming the controls. stick welding is possible because you can watch what you are doing to keep arc length constant the machines are almost always constant current

Which of the processes joins metals plasticaliy in welding?

The solid-state welding processes. This can include friction and friction stir welding where the base metal never reaches its melting point.

What are the 5 different types of welding?

There are far more than 5 types or processes of welding. Currently the American Welding Society (AWS) states that there are more than 80 different welding and joining processes. However, some of the common welding processes include shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), flux cored arc welding (FCAW), and oxyfuel gas welding (OFW).

What is the difference between the SMAW and GTAW?

The main difference between these two types of welding is that GTAW uses gases to create the weld whilst SMAW uses an an electrical current. Both are very popular welding processes.

What are the three types of machines used in manual metal arc welding?

I am not sure your question is clear enough but here I go... Stick Arc Welding (AC or DC), MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tunsten Inter Gas). All three of these are the basic metal welding machines.

What type of welding machine use in spot welding or resistance welding?
