The Cherokee were known for there arts and crafts. If u look at the baskets they make you could tell that. Traditional Cherokee art included pipe carving, rivercane baskets, gourd art, and pottery. After moving to Oklahoma they did not have the materials they used to use for traditional crafts, so they concentrated on other crafts like beadwork and textile arts.
Their faces look like all other indians. They are slightly darker in appearance than caucasians. Since they wear the same clothes as everyone else, they are impossible to pick out in a crowd. However, if you go to Cherokee, North Carolina, for one of their shows, they will look special for your benefit and entertainment.
