It was mostly a combination of bombs and torpedos. A good example of a bomb sinking a ship was the USS Arizona. A bomb was dropped and when it hit her it penetrated the deck went into the ships magazine (place where munitons are stored) and went off with such a force that it nearly cut the ship in two. She was however hit by at least two torpedos as well. The Japanese torpedos were retrofit with a special enhancement to their fins that kept them from diving too deeply when dropped as the harbor was barely deep enough to allow the passage of ships. These inflicted much damage. I would say from what I know of Pearl Harbor, most of the damage was caused by torpedos and the second runner up is bombs.
when the Japenese crashed their planes into all of the boats
Isolationism .

Yes. 18 boats sank, one of the most importent was the Oklahoma.
most Japanese Americans were treated badly by Americans there were mass movements of them to camps to prevent espionage
Singapore was British while Pearl Harbor was American. The American press delivered far more information on Pearl because their readers were Americans, for the most part.
Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor, and Americans reply as atomic bombs was the most important event
In the attack of the Pearl harbor the United States did lose most of its battleship.
During the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, there were approximately 100 ships present, including battleships, cruisers, destroyers, and submarines. However, only a few boats, specifically the smaller vessels like patrol boats and tugboats, were actively involved in defending the harbor. Most of the larger warships were either moored or caught off-guard during the surprise attack. The lack of preparedness and the element of surprise led to significant losses for the U.S. Navy.
To me, the most famous survivor of the Pearl Harbor attack was inspirational speaker and motivator Earl Nightingale.
Pearl Harbor is what had caused World War II, I believe that's the most important thing.
Most US citizens NEVER heard of Pearl Harbor until it was attacked.
