The majority of ethnic groups in South Korea are Korean and some Japanese.
When South Korea's export growth stalled some South Korean firms suggested that south Korea primary export problem was the weakness in the Japanese yen.
China and South Korea are stealing some Japanese business.
Many things one is both countries might become under dictator ship.
Under the conditions of the Japanese surrender, they removed all of their occupation forces from Korea, which they had occupied since the Russo-Japanese War of 1905. Russian forces defeated the Japanese army in Manchuria in mid-August 1945, and some of these Japanese remained prisoners until the 1950s.

the assassination of the Korean Queen by Japanese Assassins in the 19th century, occupation of the Japanese army from 22 August 1910 to 15 August 1945, The rise of the Government in south Korea known as the Republic of Korea, The Korean war fought by the communist north Korea and democratic South Korea, Rise of the Korean's Economy after they supported in the Vietnam war etc
The origin of Japanese people in not known yet. The Japanese are known to sometimes not consider themselves to be an Asian Country or Race and something completely different due to the fact that they are an island. Many people have expressed that Japan may have originated from Korea. But, I did do some quick searching to see if anything as really change and there hasn't. Japanese people originated from either China or Korea. Kanji is a Japanese spinoff of Chinese characters though the spoken language is classified as a Altaic language, alongside Korea. Language-wise, Korea and Japan have a lot in common (though Korea rarely uses Chinese characters anymore)

In 1910, the Japanese took over Korea and occupied it until the defeat in WW2, therefore the involvement of Korea would have been resources to the Japanese War Machine. Part of the Allies. Some would argue that they didn't declare war and they remained neutral, because Korea was controlled by Japan and didn't have any form of government until 1919 it meant that once Japan went to war, any provinces under Japanese rule effectively went to war, just like the British Empire.
