Tibetan Terriers were used to guard important people in Tibet, such as kings and queens. The breed came from the mountains of Tibet. Because Tibetan Terriers were guard dogs it's in there breed. They love to be around you and cannot stand it if they are not right under your feet, they don't love to be lap dogs and be cuddled, but they don't mind it. A normal Tibetan Terrier weighs from 20-30 pounds. They are very social and extremely smart.
