Where did Athena ive when she was little?
There are two different Athenas - one in Greek Mythology, the other a bad adaptation by Disney studiios for the Mother of Ariel. The traditional Athena hails from Athens and is, of course the Patroness of the City. She wears warlike armor and such but is NOT an Amazon, nor is she Minerva, Roman Goddess of Military intelligence. Athena is NOt in any sense a Marine goddess, I am surprised the Disney people are so ill-informed on Greek Mythology. Methinks they should study some Wonder Woman.

Why is Athena good?
Well, Athena's not really that good. Let's just say she's a wise bad tempered goddess. She was the goddess of wisdom and war. her symbol was the owl. She turned Medusa into a gorgon when she found her with Poisedon in her temple when it was really Poisedon's fault. She also won the fight between Athena and Poisedon for the city of the Athens. Based on the name she obviously won.
