The times that they traveled back to were: 1955 and 1885. They also went forward in time to the year 2015, but that was in 2 different time lines. Because the almanac was stolen and used in the past to create a different time line.
The Time Machine- a novel by H.G. Wells- was made into two separate movies- with some ( stolen trackage) adapted in a science-fiction film called World Without End)- the low budget trick- no space suits needed- class M ( medium?) planet, that turns out to be- a Future Earth. The Back To the future films used a modified DeLorean automobile as a time-travel device, different cars were used in different movies. I hasten to add Time Machine- and Back to the future are separate film cycles. Brick Bradford- a comic strip character, employed the Time Top- that's another tale.

Marty
He didn't travel to another dimension, he simply travelled one minute into the future. Marty and Doc took the slow path and met him a minute later, while from Einstien's perspective, no time had passed at all.

Marty Mcfly
Um, the number of years he didn't travel to is literally infinite. Why don't I just list the four years he did travel to and, yes, there are only four: # 1885 (Part III) # 1955 (Part I, Part II and Part III) # 1985 (Part I, Part II and Part III) # 2015 (Part II)
Because the main character (Marty) gets trapped in the past and he has to get back to his own time, which is the future from the perspective of the past.
He played Marty Mcfly's dad when Marty went to the past.
