This seems to be an almost impossible bit of information to come by, but a prop house in London is selling vintage reproductions of the infamous "white fiver" that they claim to be very accurate. They're 21 cm x 13.5 cm, or 8.27" x 5.31" which looks about right:
Took a long d*mn time to track this relatively simple dimension down, for some reason.
$2 million
3 dimensions. 2 dimensions means flat. the white house has length, width, and height. 3 dimensions, no?
The 'A' series £5 note, or 'White Fiver' was first issued in 1793, when it was worth in today's money some £437.16, and remained in circulation until 1957 when its equivalent value was some £83.20. The worth of a white fiver today is somewhere between £50 and £120 depending so very much on condition and age. The average value of a white fiver today is circa £60-70 which you will notice is actually less than when in circulation. It would have made more financial sense to have spent one when in circulation than holding one as an investment as they have not yet reached a higher value. Simon Holmes.
If by "large" Five Pound note you mean the white type printed on only one side, dimensions about 211mm by 133mm, they last issued in 1957 and ceased to be legal tender in 1961.
British

the british burned the White House and the Capitol
Madeiran Large White was created in 1886.
they burned the white house. Actually, it was not yet known as the White House. It was the Capital Building. It became kown as the White House because it was painted white to hide the black charring the occured as a resulted of the fire
The "white fiver", initially introduced in 1793, was essentially unchanged until it was replaced by the "Series B" (mostly dark blue) note in 1957. It ceased to be legal tender on March 13, 1961.
