the Stolen Generations for information on the Stolen Generations go to wikipedia
Aboriginal Land Rights happened because there was an appeal from the post stolen generation. Land Rights were and are important so the White Australian's can start to "rite the wrongs".
Robert Mann, one of Australia's promoters of 'the stolen generation' was challenged by Andrew Bolt in 2005 - 2006 to produce a list of ten names. Mann claimed there were up to twenty five thousand 'stolen generation' aboriginals. He was unable to produce a list of just ten genuine names, even after eight years of researching the subject. So if there is a genuine list it will be a very small one. Just remember that 'stolen generation' implies being taken away because they were aboriginal. Many children, including whites were taken away to be rescued from abuse and neglect.
Being part of the stolen generation- they were taken by the government and raised up with white people, and they had to forget their culture and were given new names, and they weren't allowed to see their family, like they were promised of.
