This sounds very much like an essay or homework question to me. Perhaps you should research it properly. There is a very good series on ancient Greece published by Routledge; I suggest you look at The Greek World 479-323 BC by Simon Hornblower, which I suspect covers the time you're looking at, though you didn't specify.

There were no similarities. In Athens there was Democracy while in Sparta the was Oligarchy. In Athens women didn't have any priviledges, while in Sparta women were allowed to do almost anything men did.

Sparta assisted Athens to establish its independence after its tyrants were expelled, Athens provided major contingents as one of the cities led by Sparta resisting the Persian invasion. Athens assisted Sparta to put down an internal rebellion, but thereafter they fell out and became adversaries.
