Hercules had 12 Labors:

1. kill the Nemean lion. He strangled it and kept its skin as armor
2. kill the hydra. He cut off each head and burnt them straight away
3. Catch the golden deer without hurting it.
4. Catch the giant boar. The king hid in a big jar.
5. clean some stables that had never been cleaned before. He had to use a river
6. kill some evil birds. He shot them with poisoned arrows
7. capture the Cretan bull
8. capture some man-eating horses
9. take the amazon queen's belt
10. capture the cattle of a three-bodied giant
11. take the golden apples guarded by a dragon
12. capture the guard-dog to the underworld (hell)
