The type of government where the central government has all the power and the people have none is called a dictatorship.

The people that desired a strong central government in the United States organized and called themselves the Nationalists. Later, these people became known as the Federalists.

The people who supported the Constitution were called Federalists. They advocated for a strong central government and believed that the Constitution was essential for maintaining order and unity in the newly formed United States. Key figures among the Federalists included Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay, who also wrote the Federalist Papers to promote ratification of the Constitution.

A strong Central government is When the Government has a lot more power than the people. Unlike a weak central government where the people have more say in law.
The federalists believed that regular, hardworking, and patriotic people should govern. They did not believe in people governing based on the families they were from.
The founding fathers did not fear strong central government, if anything they supported it. The British rule was very strong in government and America did not want too much power to come to one or a group of people. So the Articles of Confederation were set up as a weak form of central government to avoid becoming like the British rule.
