Dinosaurs were a very successful type of organism who lived on Earth for many millions of years before something, probably a giant asteroid collision, wiped them out. Perhaps, in retrospect, being so extremely large made them vulnerable to certain types of environmental change, when smaller species proved to be more adaptable. Bigger is not always better. Notably, smaller species of feathered dinosaur did survive, and still exist today.
The evolution of mammals
Through evolution.
An example of macro-evolution is the appearance of feathers during the evolution of birds from theropod dinosaurs.
bony fish, dinosaurs, bird evolution
yes
they are a great part of history cause they are a fine example of evolution
It can answer a lot of questions about the past, and evolution, and for a lot of science purposes
Evolution, my dear boy, evolution. Some sort of reptile must have had a child slightly different than it so as to suit the enviorment. At some time the child was a dinosaur. Dinosaurs evolved from archosaurian reptiles.
Evolution, plain and simple. Google Darwin if you need clarification on the point.
the evolution comes to the origin of species.
Dinosaurs are actually a great way of PROVING evolution. The fossil record has shown many evolutionary pathways dinosaurs ventured down during their 165 million year reign. Fossil evidence has shown many species of theropods, or meat eating dinosaurs, had feathers and increasingly bird-like characteristics. New discoveries in China have furthered the link between dinosaur and bird, helping to prove that evolution isn't merely a theory, but is indeed a irrefutable FACT.
Mammals and dinosaurs started about the same time and mammals are still here, so ... Mammals! (Unless you count birds as dinosaurs, in which case it's a tie). One of the mysteries of evolution is why the dinosaurs came to dominate the mammals in the first place.
