It is believed that Jesus spoke seven phrases while he was on the cross. These phrases are known as the "Seven Last Words of Jesus." They include "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do" and "Father, into your hands, I commend my spirit."
Many artists and composers have been inspired by Jesus' last short statements on the Cross. Perhaps the best/most well known was Joseph Haydn in the 18th Century AD.
1. The prophecy of Simeon 2. The flight to Egypt 3. Losing Jesus (but then finding Him again in the temple in Jerusalem 3 days later) 4. Witnessing Jesus carry His cross 5. Jesus' crucifixion 6. Taking Jesus down from the cross 7. Jesus' burial
Literally, word for word, it means "Protect the seven words Jesus Christ on cross." I think in order for it to have correct grammar in German there would have to be a verb after cross, such as "said" (gesagte), to make it say "Protect the seven words Jesus Christ said on the cross."
The cross without Jesus on it signifies that He is risen & no longer on the cross..Jesus is alive.
The distance between each cross could have been seven feet.
the cross is used to remember Jesus and how Jesus died
Mo Jesus was not burned on the cross at all.
Jesus didn't build the cross, he was crucified on it.
No saint died on the cross with Jesus christ , as jesus died on the cross for the sins of all mankind.
The second station is Jesus accepts the cross (Jesus carries the cross).
No I believe in Jesus who died on the cross for you, me, and everybody.
