One success of the New deal was people getting jobs. The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) created jobs for young men in areas of forestry, conservation, and construction of recreation areas. Many were unemployed. The Federal Emergency Relief Act (FERA) gave out millions of dollars of relief to the unemployed. More jobs came about such as, construction of highways, bridges, buildings, and other public works projects.
