Anne Frank went into hiding soon after her 13th birthday. She was born on June 12, 1929 and went into hiding in July 1942 . Anne Frank first went to, Westerbork. Then she went to Auschwitz-Birkenau. She died at the age of 15 in Bergen-Belson.
The camps split up the males and females, then from there they split them up further. However, Anne Frank and her sister, Margot, somehoe ended up in the same camp

Anne Frank went to three camps, the first was called Westerbork in the Netherlands, a transit camp (where they do preperations for the real camps); the second (and the main one) was called Auschwitz in Poland. That was the biggest death camp in Europe and she luckily survived there; the last one was called Bergen-Belsen in Germany. That's where she died of typhus, along with her sister.

Edith Frank (Anne's mother) was only sent to Auschwitz-Birkenau. She got separated from Anne and Margot when they were sent to Bergen-Belsen. She died in January of 1945 in Auschwitz-Birkenau of starvation.
