Jimi Hendrix's first gig as a professional musician took place in 1961 at the "Top Ten Club" in Hamburg, Germany. He was part of a band called The King Kasuals and performed there while touring with various bands in Europe. This experience helped him hone his skills and gain valuable stage presence before rising to fame in the United States.
There are many different famous guitarists. Here are a few... Jimi Hendrix Eric Clapton Steve Vai Jimmy Page Yngwie Malmsteen Joe Satriani Slash Carlos Santana Jeff Beck Eddie Van Halen
Aerosmith The Beatles (Later years) Cheap Trick The Doors The Jimi Hendrix Experience Led Zeppelin Queen The Rolling Stones The Who ZZ Top
Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top was jimi's favorite guitarist. as far as bassist go dusty was one of his favs also Terry Kath. Phil Keggy was Jimi Hendrix's #1 favorite guitar player. I'm not certain about the above, I've never read anything about that. Possible I suppose.. But I have read about Keggy. Actually it was Herbert sumlin and I'm quoting Jimi I saw an interview with him on BBC and he said his favorite twin guitarists in one band were Micky Jones and Deke Leonard of Man. I cannot argue with that. BTW he also thought that the drummer, Terry Williams was great. You know him from Dire Straits..he's the drummer on Money For Nothing
She has had 5 top 10 singles: - Hallelujah - Bad Boys - Broken Heels - All Night Long - Start Without You
He never came close to having a number one hit. His only top 40 chart entry was "All along the watchtower" which peaked at number 20 in Sept. 1968.
Love You Like a Love Song, Come and Get it, and Naturally are the three singles that have sold the best.
