WWII was caused by the German's and Adolf Hitler. Hitler think quite rightly stood up to the countries in the Treaty of Versailles telling them to give Germany back what they lost in WWI or Germany would declare war. they gave him this and more but that is when Hitler lost it he kept wanting more and more until there was no more to give and that is how WWII started
