Tombs were used during the ancient Egyptian times where the kings and pharaos were buried. If I'm not mistaken, it was the predynastic period which was around 1000 BC! In 1540, tombs were discovered in Suffolk too! Pieces and jewels and monuments were found inside it, so, who knows whether there might be more?
