What will Pope Francis fix?

It is always dangerous to make predictions, but the expectation of most Catholics, and the mandate of the conclave, seems to be that Pope Francis should "fix" some of the main problems with the way the Church is governed, especially:

• Create a single communications plan and apparatus for the Vatican
• Streamline financial administration in the Vatican
• Accountability for bishops who have allowed abuser priests to move from parish to parish
• Decentralization of decision making, increase in participation by diocesan bishops in the day-to-day leadership of the universal church.
• Refocus the priorities of the Church on its core mission: evangelization and the care of the poor.
• Change the attitude of many church leaders from dictatorial leadership styles to one of dialogue.
• Receive and implement the ecumenical suggestions, requested by Pope John Paul II twenty years ago, on how the Petrine Ministry could be exercised in a more amenable way.
