b, the network will ALWAYS drop to the slowest device no matter if there are faster devices on it. n devices would slow down to g or b speeds also. The slower one can't go faster so the faster ones have no choice but to slow down. You can get around that problem if you were to get a Dual Band router and put the slower devices on a different band and then there wouldn't be a problem.

If the printer can connect to the wireless access point via ethernet and that the printer has been enabled to be used on a wireless network then in theory yes.
How do multiple access points identify themselves as part of the same network
Wireless access points are created by installing wireless routers. These routers are providing the opportunity for other devices to get wireless access to a network and or internet.
wireless bridge
You will need to add a wireless access point to the wired network.
This is assuming that there is no outside access to the Ethernet network such as a Internet connection. If there were then firewalls would be needed to prevent a outside intrusion of the network. In addition to physical access security, a wireless network requires authentication and encryption to prevent unauthorized devices from connecting to the wireless network or capturing and decoding the data that is being transferred via a wireless network connection. If the wireless network has outside WAN access then you would also need firewalls as with the Ethernet network.
Connect a wireless network adaptor to the computer and configure the adaptor to connect to the wireless network that has the files you want to access.
SSID
The function of a wireless access point is to allow wireless devices such as projectors, laptops and PDAs to access a local area network. Wireless access points mainly act as switches to spread connections wirelessly. The difference between an access point and a router is that access points do not assign IP addresses nor do they have firewalls; they only lock out traffic that does not have the wireless key.
