Obviously, Constructicons (the name speaks for itself) will come along and revive Megatron (and perhaps another Decepticon). Megatron will have increased powers, rally his troops (including the Constructicons who can combine to form one gigantic Decepticon) and he'll have his revenge on the earthlings as well as the Autobots.
Witwicky still plays a key role in the sequel as he has a shard of the all spark, which the Decepticons probably want. So he'll do his bit of running around with the amazing Megan Fox, and also the guy from Las Vegas... he'll do his shooting and running too.
To make this a trilogy, like Empire Strikes Back or any other revenge-by-the-bad-guy themed movie, this one probably ends in a cliffhanger where all hope for the good guys seems lost... Optimus Prime will have his hands full and be self-sacrificial again...
