cold
A warm ocean current (like the Gulf Stream warming Western Europe) can make the climate much milder than it would be without the warm current. Canada, at the same latitude as Britain, is very much colder because it has no Gulf Stream!
the latitude and the Gulf Stream
Because no one can foretell the future. Scientists use computer models to try and work out what will happen, and they have made various predictions. We know that rising temperatures will affect the climate, but there are many possibilities. Some places, like Europe, may even be colder if warm ocean currents like the Gulf Stream stop.
it looks like an arm of an ocean or sea extending into the land
because they form stuff like landforms and stuff like that

its because of the gulf stream effecting Europe.
It flows past - not through the western coasts of Ireland and Scotland, bringing warm sea currents which influence our weather. If you would like some more detailed information, see related links to the Wikipedia entry.
the latitude and the Gulf Stream
water that moves at the oceans surface.
Scandinavia has a cold climate because they are close to the north-pole. But because of the Gulf-stream its not permanent ice like it is at the same degrees in North-America.
The Gulf stream would make Norway hotter.
The stream of water which flows like a river through the ocean is a current. The Gulf Stream is the most significant such current which flows from the tropics to the northern latitudes.
When rain or wind hits rock or some other natural substance such as sand and breaks it appart then carries it somewhere like in the gulf stream current from U.S. to Europe and deposites it (we learned this at Mrs. Bassler's math class at susquenita)
The Gulf Stream is a warm ocean current that carries warm water from the Gulf of Mexico into the Atlantic Ocean. To the naked eye it looks no different from any other stretch of ocean. In thermal imaging it is visible as a band of warm water going up the U.S. east coast, often with large but gentle vortices along its sides. A gulf stream jet is a twin engined plane with a high tail and low-set swept-back wings.
Really, really cold, but it's a beautiful country and known for the beautiful landscape. It's not that awfully cold, we have the gulf stream to moderate temperatures.
it is based on wind names like a lot of VWs. Golf being based on the gulf stream. Polo on the Polar Wind.
