We would all be dead and would have never evolved because photosynthesis=Oxygen=People being able to breath-a lot of other organisms would have never existed. When earth was created, the gases were very largely CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) which is what a plant needs, and in return, a plant gives us oxygen. This is why environmentalists want to stop logging and destroying the rainforest for the more trees that are cut down, the closer we are to dying out.
