Definitely not! No living thing should ever be abused. Just imagine how you would feel if you were abused. You would feel horrible. Animals can't even stand up for themselves as well as humans can, so DO NOT abuse animals. It is also against the law.
One should never abuse any one or any thing.

∙ 12y agoIf animal abuse continues, more and more pets will be hurt and feel like they are alone and hated. I have a dog that I believe may have had been abused or seen abuse as a pup, and I strongly disagree with animal abuse.Animals cannot talk or tell their owner to stop hurting them. We need to stop it.God never said to Adam and Eve to abuse his creations. Each and every animal that is abused gets scarred for life.People need to start realizing the true wonder of how pure animals are.

∙ 12y agoNo, people do not have any right to abuse animals. See just like humans, animals have feelings, they have hearts, they feel the way we feel at times. Just like we know when something is wrong, animals know when they are being abused.
Abusing an animal is a crime; it is the same as abusing a child except the charges won't be as bad.
Animal abuse is illegal. If people don't have the time to feed or love their pet, then they should not waste another innocent life like that in the first place. They should stop and think, "Will I care for this animal or not?". It is as simple as that.

∙ 13y agoIt is interesting the way that you phrase the question "keep" an abused animal, meaning that the animal was abused while in your possession? If you or someone in your family has abused an animal, please give the animal to a shelter where someone can adopt the animal and give it the love and attention that it deserves. Secondly, get the "abuser" in your family some serious psychiatric counselling. There are definite connections between animal abusers escalating to physical abuse.
