The price medicines will go up it will take longer to get them released, and as in any government monitoring system it will make no difference to the amount of animals being cruelly killed.
To test products for us humans. So that what is being tested on the animal doesn't hurt us but hurts them!:(
The main number one objective to hunting is to keep the population of an animal on an even keel. Over population results in a shortage of food, therefore starvation can happen, or in worse case scenario, disease can be widespread among even the healthy animals. Hunting cuts this risk down. The amount of a certain species to be hunting is closely monitored and regulated by your local and federal department of fish and game.
No. Not usually. These products are monitored. It would be highly unusual for this to happen.
In what sense? Work? Personal finances?
Pretty much anywhere that needs products or compounds tested. Universities have animal testing for a variety of purposes, to evaluate the effect of nutritional and behaviorial protocols, along with potential drug testing. Also universities have animal-testing to develop genetic modification protocols. Corporations also conduct animal testing. Drug companies have to prove that their drugs are safe on animals before the FDA will allow them to test the drugs on humans. Cosmetics companies also have labs to test the amount of irritation and toxicity of their products. Pet food companies also conduct testing to determine the best formulas for animal food products. While cosmetics companies have come under fire for the amount of suffering inflicted on animals for the testing of products which seem to have minimal health risks or benefits to people, remember that the majority of animal testing puts animals in no more pain and suffering than if they were raised for food. Laboratory animals are typically euthanized at the end of their productive lifespans, usually by carbon dioxide gas or injection, much as you would put down a pet.
You should start with a petition, and see how many kids are with you on not animal testing. If I was one of them I would sign it. So go around school and see how many people are with you. If it is at least 50 people take that and go some where, where the are animal testing and protest bring attenion to the matter and most likely people will join you and maybe just maybe something will happen. Or you could start a blog about animal cruelty like we did at www.AnimalsNeedHelp.com and donate all the profits earned through it to animal rights societies. Kids we would be happy to create one for you too as long as you post things about helping animals.
it will waste bunch of money because the government invests money into these labs but only 10% of the medicine will go through and be safe to use for humans. the animal population will decrease rapidly and infect the environment
Drug testing happens at random and it usually takes place in a laboratory or a restroom.
Only the sickest and most disgusting shelters would sell there animals, but yes it does happen and shelters that dont sell often get tricked by people who come in saying they wont a petb but then carry them off to a lab to be tested on!!!
Animal testing is heavily regulated in the UK and the US (among other countries), and cosmetics tested on animals are certainly illegal in UK and some other European countries; the European Union is gradually phasing out cosmetics that have been tested on animals in other countries too. It should be noted that drugs/medicines are required by law to be tested on animals before they are even considered for human testing in the UK, US and Japan (among others). In the UK, this can include cosmetics with medical uses, such as Botox or anti-ageing creams. Britain is thought to be the highest user of animal testing in Europe.
