the nail will rust in water or any other substance that it is in by a chemical reaction
CORRECTION: Coke can NOT eat through a nail, but it can eat away the rust because it is corrosive. Second, it can't eat through your body because the acid is not strong enough. In fact, the acid lining the walls of your stomach is even stronger than the acid in the coke.
Coke Does Not Help Plants!I honestly don't believe Coke or any other soft drink is beneficial to the growth of plants. IN ADDITION:The water in the cola is the only thing beneficial. The sugar in the cola will attract insects to it, so no help there. The acid in the cola is beneficial to the soil but not in enough quantity to make any difference other than combined with the sugars it will start premature decomposition of the mulch and other groundcover. A soft drink is a good compost starter as a decay activator in a compost pile but not very beneficial to a plant in general. Some plants grow well with ginger ale poured into the ground near them.Coke is very acidic and will kill plants. Coke will dissolve a copper penny. Coke will also help to loosen up rusty nuts and bolts.A lot of soft drinks are very acid, not just coke, and will kill pants.
There are probably dozens I've never heard of but I do know of two at least. Its found in soda pop such as Coke (go ahead read the ingredients on the can to check). Also, it's the main active ingrediant in a substance called "Naval Jelly", this pink stuff you smear on rusty iron and let it sit for a few minutes,...after that you rinse with water and the rust is gone.
Well... Only water can evaporate. So, the water and the water that is in the coke will evaporate at the same time, but the other substances in Coke besides water will remain put. I hope that answers your question.waterthe presence of sugar in coke elevates its boiling point. Actually, coke has a great deal of water in it. If you are talking about room temperature evaporation (or even evaporation by boiling as the first author writes about), the water component will vaporise first, leaving a sugar and other additive residue which will not evaporate unless much higher temperatures are used, eventually leading to the decomposition (not evaporation) of the sugar component.
the ice mixes with the sodium which the ice begins to melt and makes your coke or other soda watery tasting
yes in fact it is.!

Coke like other colas is acidic. it will "eat" the food. try placing some meat into a pan with coke and put it in the fridge and see what you have in the morning.

Yes
coke will be dirty
The only bad thing about drinking fizzy drinks like coke is that if the sugary substance is left on your braces it can rust the metal. This means that you have to brush your teeth about 30 minutes afterwards to make sure that this doesn't happen.
