I would disagree that pine beetles have the same rights as a human. I just is not logical, but to say it is wrong to want to save endangered species is also foolish. Animals do not share the same rights as humans. That is demeaning to the human race. To say we should not save species from extinction is equally absurd. The HIV virus is a living being. That does not share the same right to exist as I do. I dont think they should be saved because we all have to die someday and maybe God feels like it would be their time to go so they are going extinct but i dont think people should just go out and kill poor innocent animals.

its not necessary that animals living in the same habitat are same. to live in a patticular habitat their body only has special adaptions. any organism of same adaption may have a different body design. Thus, different organisms live in same habitat.
