I would take your pet into be examined by your Veterinarian first. He or she will recommend what they think is appropriate. There is Rimadyl which is by prescription only and it works wonders. There are also things you can buy yourself to help out such as Glyco Flex and that can be given with the Rimadyl. Good luck.
