It really depends on the horse. Some will resort to chewing on walls or fences others will learn to cribb and some will just mentally shut down. Pony's will often cause extra mischief or get extra temperamental. If you think your horse if bored you can give them jolly balls or you can hang a empty milk jug with rocks in it from your rafters. This may make a lot of noise but the horses love it! Most of the time they aren't bored when there outside but you can give them a friend like a goat or even better another horse and they will be pretty happy campers!
