It depends on how much lemon juice you use and how dark brown your hair is. If you put it into a squirt bottle and just spray your hair (then blow dry it or go out into the sun) you'll end up getting blonde streaks or just lightening your own original color. I've done this and it works pretty well. If you soak your hair in it then it your hair will be a lot lighter (than if you used a spray bottle). Unfortunately there isn't a set color when it comes to lemon juice and it often takes a few days to a few weeks to finally figure out what the final color is. If you're trying to have a specific color then you're better off with buying a thing of hair dye. Also forewarning, lemon juice makes your hair very dry and brittle. Hope this helps! :-)
it will turn it blond but w/ a greenish tint
you hav to sit in the sun for it to work
For black hair, there's a chance your hair'll turn orange or red, so I suggest you not.
it will just lighten it:)
No it will turn a lighter Browne
possibly i have dark brown hair and i tried it two times and all it did was dry it out so its just up to your hair
Lemon juice will lift a bit of color.
No. It makes your hair orange. If you put lemon juice in your hair then sit in the sun it would go ginger... if you got Natural black hair... just go buy dye.. buy like a light brown dye and it would turn out meduim brown or dark brown depends on you hair..
Lemon juice is very acidic. It will result in your hair lightening. Depending on the shade of brown, you could end up with anywhere from blond to lighter brown hair.
YES!!!!!
It is both: Light - Helps lighten the hair,to make it look natural, lemon bleaches the hair, which helps. Heat - The lemon juice drys faster and provides strength to the light!
No, lemon juice isn't strong enough to lift artificial dark brown hair color. Bleach will need to be used for this.
Nope! It only works on blond or light hair. You can use cranberry juice to give your dark hair natural lowlights though!
I am not a expert or a cosmotolgist, but as far as i know good ole lemon juice and sun, nothing is going to lighten your hair naturally to a light brown, with out a chemical color. unless you sit in the sun often with lemon in your hair'. thats about as expert i have to give. good luck
Yes. If you soak your hair with a mixture of lemon juice and water and spend time in the sun the citric acid will bleach some of the color out of your hair.
