The sending unit may be faulty. The year, make, model and which gauge would help.
Get a rod done.
why doesn't my rpm gauge and temp gauge, fuel gauge not work
No.
An alternator does not need a gauge to work. It is used to monitor the output of the alternator.
If it gets to hot the thermostat wont work. you need to repace it and the gauge will work again.
have you checked the fuel gauge itself to make sure it is working
Check to make sure that the temperature sensor is good. A bad sensor is commonly the cause of the temperature gauge not working.
only 3 reasons a temp gauge wont work the temp sender is bad the gauge is bad or the wire from temp sender to gauge is broken
you need a newvoltage reducer
1999 subaru legacy wagon mph gauge works when it wants to what makes the gauge work? Is it a censor, fuse, wire please help
Make sure the resistance (ohms) from the sending unit matches the gauge's range. It's smart to also make sure the float works properly before dropping it in by doing a bench test on it. Then make sure the gauge is working properly. You will need a multimeter and lots of research time if you have not done this before.
you need to bring it to me Bailey_grizzle@yahoo.com i was told not to tell
